**Job Title:** Operations Specialist **Role Summary:** Process and digitize financial documents (checks, insurance claims, 401(k) disbursements) with strict compliance to internal/external regulations. Focus on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across teams to ensure proper routing and deposit of funds. **Expectations:** - Reliability to maintain consistent work attendance. - Attention to detail to prevent errors in high-volume tasks. - Collaborative team orientation and willingness to adapt to procedural changes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Convert physical documents to digital formats using OCR systems and document management tools. - Validate document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies. - Prioritize workloads to meet departmental performance targets and deadlines. - Resolve discrepancies or incomplete information via process guidelines and cross-team collaboration. - Digitize checks and integrate them into workflows to ensure funds reach correct accounts. - Facilitate access to operational resources and resolve branch/team queries. - Analyze process inefficiencies to propose workflow improvements. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in OCR software, Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, and internal financial systems. - Strong written/verbal communication for client/team interactions. - Analytical and critical thinking to solve data-related issues. - Multitasking and adaptability in fast-paced environments. - Detail-oriented work ethic with accountability for high-stakes tasks. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma preferred. - Prior experience in financial processing (checks/money handling), data entry, or roles requiring stringent accuracy (e.g., banking, accounts receivable, legal administration).
