Job title: IT Support Technician
Role Summary:
Provide first‑ and second‑line support for end‑users across multiple sites, ensuring reliable access to systems, devices, and services. Responsible for incident logging, hardware provisioning, Microsoft 365 support, network assistance, asset management, and documentation.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, proactive support via phone, in‑person, and remote tools.
- Maintain accurate helpdesk records and log incidents.
- Build, configure, and deploy PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets.
- Manage inventory, asset tagging, and procurement processes.
- Support Microsoft 365 adoption and basic administration.
- Assist with Wi‑Fi, network, and device configuration.
- Perform scheduled checks, on‑call support, and pre‑event readiness.
- Produce and follow IT procedures and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support to end‑users.
- Log, prioritise and resolve incidents, maintaining helpdesk accuracy.
- Assemble, configure, and deploy hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices).
- Manage stock levels, asset tagging, and inventory system.
- Offer Microsoft 365 support (Teams, SharePoint, Office apps) and basic admin tasks.
- Assist with network support, wireless infrastructure, and device configuration.
- Conduct scheduled pre‑event checks and provide on‑call technical support.
- Liaise with suppliers, obtain quotes, and follow procurement procedures.
- Support deployment processes including Autopilot and Intune.
- Maintain equipment, perform updates, and conduct regular reviews.
- Produce documentation and adhere to established IT procedures.
Required Skills:

- PC building and configuration expertise.
- Support for Windows 11, Apple iOS, and mobile OS.
- Microsoft 365 applications and basic administration.
- Active Directory & Group Policy knowledge.
- Printer troubleshooting.
- Intune/Endpoint Manager (MDM) proficiency.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, basic troubleshooting).
- Remote access and remote support tools.
- Desirable: Switches, wireless access point configuration, VLANs, Ethernet/fibre basics.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent (preferred).
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).
