**Job Title:** Senior Project Manager – Port Infrastructure (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Lead full‑cycle project ownership for the design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of port facilities. Ensure technical, regulatory, financial, and safety compliance while coordinating internal and external stakeholders and delivering projects on time and within budget.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, safe, and performance‑driven infrastructure projects.
- Manage project budgets, financing, and grant procurement.
- Foster collaboration across port departments, contractors, and public authorities.
- Provide accurate technical, financial, and schedule reporting to senior management.
- Participate in on‑call (astreinte) rotation and promote a strong safety culture.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee all project phases: feasibility studies, design, regulatory approvals, public consultations, construction, commissioning, and warranty follow‑up.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, financial forecasts, and subsidy applications.
- Draft program specifications, technical dossiers, and tender documents.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, and institutional partners; lead coordination meetings and public hearings.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, performance indicators, and reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and risk‑prevention standards (DUERP, risk assessments).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and share best practices.
- Participate in the port’s on‑call duty team after required training.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong project management (planning, risk, cost, quality control).
- In‑depth knowledge of civil engineering, port/terminal, railway, or inland waterway infrastructure.
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks and public‑consultation procedures.
- Financial acumen for budgeting, grant management, and cost tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
- Leadership, decision‑making, and team‑motivating capabilities.
- Fluent in French; proficient in English (technical and reporting).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineering degree (Master’s level, Bac + 5) in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Public Works, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in project ownership or project management of port, terminal, railway, or waterway infrastructure.
- Preferred: certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent; additional training in logistics, mobility, or traffic studies considered an asset.
