**Job Title**: Attendant Care **Role Summary**: Provide personalized in-home and community-based support to clients requiring assistance with daily living activities, emphasizing safety, well-being, and independence following trauma, medical conditions, or mental health challenges. **Expectations**: Work independently and autonomously, tailoring care to individual client needs. Requires flexibility in scheduling, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to client-centered care. **Key Responsibilities**: - Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and household tasks. - Ensure client safety during home or community activities and hobbies. - Organize meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, and emotional support. - Engage clients in structured, client-preferred activities to promote well-being. - Maintain organized care plans and communicate with clients and stakeholders as needed. **Required Skills**: - Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification (Level C). - Reliability, strong organizational abilities, and independent work ethic. - Valid smartphone with sufficient data plan. - Completed Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within six months). - First Aid/CPR certification (Level C). - Post-secondary education or training in a related field preferred but not required. - Valid G-class driver’s license and vehicle access beneficial but not mandatory.
