Job Description
**Job Title**: Lead C&I Engineer **Role Summary**: Oversees Control and Instrumentation Engineering for UK Capital Projects, ensuring technical alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Focuses on integrating innovation and collaboration to drive operational efficiency. **Expectations**: Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline; Chartered Engineer status preferred. Requires experience in capital project delivery, control systems, and obsolescence mitigation. **Key Responsibilities**: - Manage Control and Instrumentation (C&I) engineering aspects for UK Capital Projects. - Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (legal, contractual, COMAH). - Lead implementation of new technologies to enhance project outcomes. - Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering standards and manage risks. - Monitor contractor/supplier performance to meet KPIs and best practices. - Administer obsolescence mitigation programs for systems and equipment. **Required Skills**: - Capital project delivery in engineering or construction sectors. - Integrated control and shutdown systems expertise. - Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and safety management. - Obsolescence mitigation program management. - Cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering (preferred). - Chartered Engineer status (preferred).
