Job Description

**Job Title:** Cloud Solution Architect (Azure) **Role Summary:** Senior technical leadership role driving end-to-end migration from on-premises to Azure, with focus on architecture design, automation, and cross-team collaboration. Requires hands-on expertise in Azure cloud solutions and migration strategies. **Expectations:** - 8–12+ years in cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture. - Proven leadership in Azure migration projects. - Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, or equivalent). **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build Azure landing zones using Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). - Configure subscriptions, governance, identity, networking, and security frameworks. - Conduct technical discovery of on-prem applications, VMs, databases, and integrations. - Define migration waves and recommend lift-and-shift, re-platform, or refactor approaches. - Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines. - Oversee environment buildout for Dev, QA, and production. - Collaborate with infrastructure, application, data, and security teams to resolve migration blockers. - Ensure integration reconnections and validation during testing. - Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and technical guidelines. - Report technical progress and risks to leadership. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in Azure architecture and migration workflows. - Proficiency in Terraform/Bicep for IaC. - CI/CD pipeline implementation (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions). - Advanced understanding of Azure networking, identity, and security. - Experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, database migration tools, and data transfer methods. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, or equivalent).
