**Job Title:** Cognos TM1 Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain advanced TM1 models, cubes, and reporting solutions to support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Lead functional and technical delivery, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and alignment with financial services standards across multiple regions.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics development.
- Proven leadership of cross‑regional teams and coordination with application, platform, and support functions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile, and sprint practices.
- Client‑facing expertise in managing SLAs, proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and hyper‑care support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and optimize TM1/Planning Analytics models, cubes, and P&L planning solutions.
- Configure TM1 Web and Contributor workflows, ensuring secure user access and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, data integrations, and automation scripts.
- Align data with DCP and FSDM frameworks; enforce data consistency and financial service standards.
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable BI solutions, and document technical specifications.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing TM1 models.
- Mentor L2 and L3 teams, fostering knowledge transfer and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics architecture, model design, and performance optimization.
- Proficient in SQL, cube design, dimension modeling, and data flow scripting.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data integration, and automation (shell/python, scheduling).
- Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and sprint execution.
- Strong communication, client‑facing, and team‑leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with hyper‑care support, SLA management, and monitoring tools.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Cognos Business Intelligence professional (preferred).
- Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics certification (preferred).
