Job Description
**Job Title**: Sales & Agronomy Intern **Role Summary** The internship blends field-based agronomic research with sales support, enabling hands‑on experience in crop trials and customer engagement. Interns collaborate with the sales team to execute product trials, collect and analyze field data, and assist in grower outreach. **Expectations** - Complete both research and sales duties to build a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio and regional crop systems. - Develop communication and presentation skills through interaction with Territory Managers, Technical Support Specialists, and grower customers. - Deliver a complete field‑scale trial protocol and subsequent report. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and manage field trials at multiple sites, adhering to trial protocols. - Collect, organize, and summarize trial data using MS Excel and other analytical tools. - Assist Technical Support Specialists with data analysis and documentation. - Participate in sales calls and retail support activities, observing and learning customer interactions. - Prepare and deliver presentations of trial results to stakeholders. - Maintain accurate records of trial activities, data, and observations. - Ensure safe working and driving practices at all times. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work independently from a home office and manage time effectively. - Leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in cross‑functional teams. - Basic knowledge of current farming practices and crop management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agri‑Business, or a related accredited program. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
