Job Description

Job title: Freelancer Full-Stack Django / React Developer (Remote – Europe) Role Summary: Develop and maintain key features of RentalReady, a Python/Django and React-based property management SaaS, working within a fully remote, product‑focused team to deliver high‑quality software for the hospitality industry. Expactations: • Own end‑to‑end development of new modules and enhancements • Deliver clean, tested code and participate actively in pull‑request reviews • Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to refine user experience • Respond to bug reports and perform timely troubleshooting • Maintain high coding standards, documentation, and adherence to best practices Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and deploy new backend services in Django • Implement frontend components and pages using React and CSS • Integrate with existing APIs and mobile applications for property owners and cleaning staff • Review and merge pull requests from junior developers, providing constructive feedback • Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives in an asynchronous remote setting • Monitor system performance and perform code refactoring as needed Required Skills: • Proficient in Python and Django framework • Strong experience with React, including hooks and component architecture • CSS/SCSS knowledge for responsive UI design • Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration • Hands‑on experience with version control (Git) and pull‑request workflows • Ability to write unit and integration tests; knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest) • Excellent problem‑solving skills and proactive mindset • Effective communication in English (written and spoken) • Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous team environment Required Education & Certifications: Not specified (relevant experience and portfolio considered); Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
