Job Description
**Job title** Automation Engineer Intern **Role Summary** Provide hands‑on engineering support to the Automation Department, designing, building, and programming robotic and automation solutions for both customer projects and internal factory systems. Serve as a bridge between research, product development, and sales to develop proof‑of‑concepts and evaluate customer feasibility. **Expactations** - Demonstrate initiative and thrive in a fast‑moving, multidisciplinary environment. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and team members. - Manage time effectively and deliver projects on agreed deadlines. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build, and program robotic/automation setups for customer demonstration and internal use. - Create proof‑of‑concept projects and evaluate customer requests for feasibility. - Develop and maintain the company’s customer testing area hardware and software. - Conduct market and technology research to support product development. - Build automation systems in Python for showroom, customer visits, and trade shows. - Contribute to internal factory automation concepts within a team setting. - Collaborate with international colleagues to share knowledge and progress. **Required Skills** - Foundational knowledge of stepper, servo, and BLDC motors; PLCs and motor drivers. - Programming proficiency in Python. - Strong technical communication (verbal and written). - Competence in MS Office suite. - Self‑starter mindset with teamwork orientation and results focus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics program. - No additional certifications required at this level.
