Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and deliver IT application projects within a dynamic team of 5 project leaders. Structure, plan, and execute projects from ideation to hand‑over, ensuring alignment with business objectives, GDPR compliance, and stakeholder expectations. Manage technical design, procurement, testing, deployment, and support while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule targets. **Expectations:** - Minimum 8 years of IT application project leadership. - At least 2 years of agile (Waterscrum) project experience. - Full professional proficiency in English, Dutch, and French. - Flexible for regular mobility across Belgium. - Pro‑active, problem‑solving mindset with strong communication skills. - Customer‑centric, team‑focused approach. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop project plans, business cases, and detailed technical specifications. - Own GDPR assessment, steering committee participation, and overall project governance. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams: architects, analysts, developers, SDMs, external suppliers, CIO, CISO, DPO. - Manage procurement from contract signing to final validation. - Define and execute testing strategy; ensure quality through validation and acceptance. - Deploy applications/services, organise maintenance, user training, and support. - Monitor progress, control scope, schedule, and budget; propose mitigations for deviations. - Enhance existing Waterscrum methodology and portfolio processes. - Act as bridge between business and IT stakeholders, ensuring clear communication. **Required Skills:** - Project management (planning, scheduling, risk, governance). - Agile/Scrum (Waterscrum) methodology proficiency. - Stakeholder management and facilitation. - Technical fluency with SAP ECC6, MS Office, Azure DevOps, Visio, ServiceNow. - Knowledge of GDPR, IT security, and compliance frameworks. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Dutch, French. - Team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. - Project management certifications preferred (PMP, Prince2, Agile Certified Practitioner, ScrumMaster).
