Job Title: Business Development Intern Role Summary: Remote contract intern supporting business development by generating leads, conducting market research, and providing analytical insights for a clean‑energy consulting firm. Expactations: Deliver research reports and maintain prospect data; support outreach, client communication, and strategic decision‑making; work independently and meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Research market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. - Generate and qualify leads through online databases, industry reports, and outreach campaigns. - Compile data into reports, dashboards, and presentations for the BD team. - Draft outreach materials and assist in client engagement. - Update CRM systems with prospect information and lead status. - Analyze campaign metrics and suggest improvements. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Customer‑service oriented with active listening. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data visualization, and basic database tools. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of independent remote work.
