Job Description
**Job Title** Tax / Audit Intern – Spring/Summer 2027 **Role Summary** Student interns will engage in hands‑on accounting work for mid‑ to large‑size clients, focusing on tax planning, compliance, and audit support. Interns collaborate directly with clients and senior partners, gaining exposure to industry‑specific tax issues and audit procedures. **Expectations** - Complete internship period in the Spring (Jan‑Apr) or Summer (Jun‑Aug). - Deliver professional services under supervision, achieving the firm’s quality standards. - Participate in group projects, networking, and social impact activities. **Key Responsibilities** *Tax Intern* - Conduct tax research and prepare tax returns for diverse clients. - Provide tax planning and advisory recommendations. - Coordinate with partners on innovative tax strategies. - Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and team members. *Audit Intern* - Assist with audit fieldwork, including test of controls and substantive procedures. - Evaluate internal controls and financial reporting processes. - Document audit findings and assist in drafting audit engagement reports. - Collaborate with audit teams on compliance with current accounting standards. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and colleagues. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrolled in or recently completed an Accounting major. - Minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent). - No professional certification required; CPA support available.
