**Job title:** AWS Security Architect **Role Summary** Lead the security architecture for a large-scale Data Center Exit and application migration to AWS. Design and implement secure landing zones, enforce regulatory compliance, embed security into IaC and CI/CD pipelines, and advise senior stakeholders on risk mitigation and incident response. **Expectations** - Deliver a secure, compliant, and resilient migration to AWS for a regulated client. - Apply Zero‑Trust principles and best‑practice governance throughout the migration. - Provide strategic security guidance, risk assessments, and operational monitoring. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build, and manage secure AWS Landing Zones from scratch. - Integrate and configure core AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, WAF, CloudTrail, CloudWatch). - Enforce compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS and other relevant standards. - Automate security controls using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. - Architect IAM policies, roles, and permissions aligned with Zero‑Trust architecture. - Conduct risk assessments and present findings and mitigation recommendations to senior stakeholders. - Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and incident‑response playbooks. **Required Skills** - Deep expertise in AWS security architecture and large‑scale migration projects. - Strong knowledge of VPC, subnets, routing, and hybrid VPC design. - Proficiency in IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, WAF, CloudTrail, CloudWatch. - Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD integration. - Ability to enforce regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS). - Knowledge of Zero‑Trust security design. - Strong risk‑assessment and incident‑response skills. - 8+ years of security architecture experience, 3+ years in AWS cloud security. **Required Education & Certifications** - AWS Security Specialty certification (preferred). - CISSP or CCSP certification (highly desirable). - Relevant experience in regulated sectors (e.g., Public Sector) is a plus.
