Job Title: Cloud Engineer and AI Ops
Role Summary: Design, build, and secure AI/ML systems at scale, integrating full‑stack development with cloud‑native infrastructure and observability to enhance an AI‑driven workflow.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready AI/ML pipelines within a small, collaborative team.
- Ensure all solutions meet strict security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and extend existing full‑stack components, improving performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement cloud‑native AI/ML workloads using Terraform, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Python, JavaScript/node.js, and SQL code for data ingestion, processing, and model deployment.
- Integrate with external APIs (e.g., Zendesk, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) and expose internal services securely.
- Set up observability (Grafana, Kibana) for model performance tracking and data drift detection.
- Manage secrets, key vaults, network policies, and RBAC to enforce least‑privilege access.
- Implement audit logging, data retention, and compliance controls (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct security testing (SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, image signing, SBOM generation).
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, node.js, and SQL.
- Experience deploying cloud‑native solutions with Terraform, Azure, Kubernetes.
- Strong background in building and operating software integrations.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana) and monitoring best practices.
- Knowledge of securing cloud infrastructure: secrets management, encryption, RBAC, network segmentation, K8s policies.
- Experience with security testing tools and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to call frontier model APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Kubernetes Admin) and security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP) are advantageous.
