**Job Title:** WordPress Website Developer
**Role Summary:**
Build, customize, and maintain high‑performance WordPress sites, ensuring optimal speed, SEO, security, and responsive design across all devices.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver fully functional WordPress websites within agreed timelines.
- Maintain code quality, adhere to best practices, and provide ongoing support and updates.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to client specifications.
- Convert design files (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive, mobile‑friendly websites.
- Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts, database issues, and broken pages.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and eCommerce solutions (WooCommerce).
- Manage security, backups, and vulnerability mitigations.
- Ensure accessibility standards and on‑page SEO structure.
- Keep up‑to‑date with WordPress core updates, themes, and industry best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Deep knowledge of WordPress Codex, theme and plugin development, and REST API integration.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
- SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility expertise.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, payment gateways, and eCommerce workflows.
- Understanding of cPanel, hosting environments, and domain management.
- Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and independent work capability.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in WordPress development, PHP, or web technologies are advantageous.
