Job Description
Job title: Event Marketing Manager Role Summary: Lead the conception, execution, and reporting of integrated marketing campaigns for a portfolio of 30+ live events annually, coordinating efforts across email, social, print, and on‑site media to maximize audience engagement and event ROI. Expactations: Demonstrate full‑funnel marketing expertise, take end‑to‑end ownership of briefs, and collaborate closely with event managers, editorial, design, and digital teams. Deliver measurable performance insights and maintain strict GDPR compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement multi‑channel marketing plans for live events, including pre‑ and post‑event communications. - Create compelling event copy and oversee production of email campaigns via an ESP. - Manage social media strategy and scheduling using tools such as Hootsuite or equivalents. - Update and maintain event content on CMS platforms (preferably WordPress). - Coordinate on‑site event marketing, including live social feeds, app promotion, and video/interview support. - Produce performance reports, analytics, and actionable insights for stakeholders. - Handle client and stakeholder communication, ensuring project milestones and deliverables. - Attend evening events in London and travel overnight as required for out‑of‑town events. Required Skills: - Advanced copywriting and communication for event marketing. - Campaign planning and execution across digital, email, social, print, and on‑site media. - Proficiency with email service providers and social media management tools. - Experience managing WordPress or similar CMS. - Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and privacy regulations. - Project management and client relationship management abilities. - Analytics and reporting skills to translate data into insights. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Professional certifications in digital marketing, email marketing, or GDPR compliance are a plus.
