**Role Summary**
Lead the transition of a traditional academic publishing business into a modern Knowledge Marketplace. Define and execute a product vision that leverages AI, APIs, and modular architecture to create a multi‑sided platform connecting publishers, researchers, learners, and institutions. Drive product strategy, roadmap, and cross‑functional execution while maintaining a customer‑centric, data‑driven, and agile work culture.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Architect and launch a modular, AI‑enabled Knowledge Marketplace.
2. Define product roadmap, prioritize backlog, and ensure timely delivery using agile methodologies.
3. Transform legacy monolithic applications into API‑first, microservices‑based solutions.
4. Manage a multi‑sided platform ecosystem; balance supply and demand, optimize network effects.
5. Set KPIs, monitor marketplace health, drive data‑driven decision making.
6. Mentor and grow a distributed product team; build a culture of innovation and accountability.
7. Communicate strategy to executives, partners, and customers; secure alignment on objectives.
8. Conduct cost‑benefit analyses, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
**Required Skills**
- Proven 8+ years of global product leadership in a matrixed environment.
- Deep expertise in multi‑sided marketplace design and operation.
- Track record of modernizing legacy products into scalable digital solutions.
- Technical fluency with APIs, data models, and AI integration; ability to work collaboratively with engineering.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in defining, tracking, and optimizing KPIs.

**Required Education & Certifications**
