Job Description
**Job Title:** Internal Sales Advisor **Role Summary:** Provide exceptional customer service while supporting the External Sales Team. Handle inbound calls, capture verbal orders, upsell and cross‑sell, manage order processing in IT systems, coordinate with warehouse and internal stakeholders, and resolve customer issues within the defined scope. **Expectations:** - Deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience. - Meet or exceed sales targets through upselling and cross‑selling. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date sales records and order documentation. - Demonstrate strong professionalism, integrity, and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound calls, following company call‑handling standards. 2. Capture and process verbal orders accurately, maximizing sales opportunities. 3. Use IT systems to enter orders, issue delivery orders, and keep data current. 4. Refer special, export, or inter‑company order queries to the appropriate sales managers or sales leadership. 5. Liaise with Warehouse Manager, supervisors, and other departments to track order status, make amendments, and ensure smooth order fulfilment. 6. Resolve or escalatetechnical, delivery or miscellaneous issues within the remit of responsibility. 7. Maintain product knowledge, identify training needs, and stay informed about promotions or new products. 8. Proactively contact existing and prospective customers to secure orders, promote sales leads, and build long‑term relationships. 9. Support cross‑functional initiatives with the sales office team, reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager. **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. - High attention to detail and strong organizational ability. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently. - Team‑player mindset, reliability, and a professional attitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience using Excel and Microsoft Office applications. - (Optional) Certifications or training in sales or product knowledge are an asset.
