The first nationwide Telemedicine network of registered electroencephalographic technologists (R.EEG.T and CLTM) and neurophysiologists available 24/7, 365 days a year for full-time or gap coverage. Our clinical team provides immediate notification of patient events so physicians can interpret neurocritical care data in real-time. CortiCare is also a leading provider of in-home ambulatory Video-EEG and routine EEG studies. Our CortiCloud server offers secure storage and a web-based interface to access outpatient EEG data anytime. With services provided in more than 20 states, we handle insurance preauthorization, patient scheduling, in-home EEG setup, remote monitoring of the 72-hour study, processing of the study with annotations, support for physician access for daily reports and final report, and long-term study storage. CortiCare is especially prepared, staffed and equipped to support clinical trials that involve collection and processing of EEG recordings for safety or clinical response to therapy. Job Description
Job title: Junior Systems Administrator Role Summary: Entry-to-mid level support specialist responsible for day‑to‑day IT operations, cloud resource maintenance, and user/end‑point support in a compliance‑driven environment. Expections: - Perform routine maintenance on AWS/Azure resources - Monitor system health and report anomalies - Assist with security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures - Deliver level 1‑2 application support and end‑user ticket resolution - Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base entries Key Responsibilities: • Provision and update cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) • Patch management, system updates, and vulnerability remediation (under supervision) • Manage identities, access controls, and user accounts (Azure AD, AWS IAM) • Deploy application updates to proprietary healthcare tools and SaaS platforms • Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and other corporate software • Support endpoint management through MDM (Intune/Kandji) • Onboard/offboard employees: device setup, access provisioning, hardware configuration • Execute routine backups, participate in DR drills, and maintain recovery plans • Adhere to HIPAA, PHI/PII protection, and internal security policies • Contribute to periodic security audits and documentation Required Skills: - Basic cloud computing knowledge (AWS/Azure) - Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) - Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments - Proficient problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation - Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality - Ability to use ITIL‑based service desk tools (Jira Service Management, Freshservice) Required Education & Certifications: - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, or junior system administration experience - Preferred: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Cloud Practitioner - Optional: Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), SaaS administration (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack), healthcare/regulated industry exposure.
