Job Title: Business Development Executive – SME Finance Role Summary: Drive the expansion of Adelpha Capital’s loan portfolio by sourcing, building, and maintaining relationships with brokers and introducers across England and Wales. Manage the end‑to‑end application process, ensuring seamless communication between introducers, borrowers, and the credit team, while delivering market insights that inform product strategy. Expectations: - Consistently accrue funded loan volume that meets or exceeds quarterly targets. - Convert cold and dormant introductions into active, profitable relationships. - Grow a robust pipeline of new introductions and re‑activate dormant accounts. - Deliver measurable contribution to overall business growth, with potential for advancement into senior BD or leadership roles. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect, onboard, and nurture new brokers and introducers nationwide. - Re‑energise existing relationships to increase funded volumes. - Conduct frequent phone outreach and face‑to‑face meetings, representing the firm at industry events. - Promote and tailor Adelpha’s lending products to introducer needs. - Oversee live applications, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders. - Provide actionable market intelligence to senior management for pricing, product, and credit appetite decisions. - Collaborate with credit, operations, and management to shape introducer engagement strategies. Required Skills: - Hands‑on sales experience in SME lending, commercial finance, or finance brokerage. - Strong telephone presence and rapport‑building ability. - Highly organized, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple priorities. - Results‑driven mindset with the energy to build and convert a steady pipeline. - Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present solutions persuasively. - Punctual, self‑motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). - No specific certifications required; relevant finance or sales certifications (e.g., CII, AFC) are a plus.
