Job Description
Job title: Microsoft Power Apps Solution Architect – Contract Role Summary: Design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end Microsoft Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients. Translate business needs into scalable technical architectures, drive best‑practice governance, and guide development teams in low‑code and custom components. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality Power Platform designs that align with business and IT strategy. - Champion Microsoft best practices and promote architectural excellence across projects. - Lead technical workshops, code review, and documentation for cross‑functional stakeholders. - Ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and compliant with ALM, DevOps, and security standards. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse stakeholder requirements and translate them into Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, Data Flows) solutions. • Create architecture diagrams, data models, flowcharts, and conduct code reviews. • Develop custom components (plugins, PCF controls, custom workflow activities) in .NET/C# / JavaScript/TypeScript. • Define architecture standards, governance models, and ALM processes. • Lead technical workshops and solution design sessions. • Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials. • Collaborate with Azure and Microsoft 365 services for integration and deployment. Required Skills: - Expert knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse. - Proven experience designing enterprise‑grade Power Platform solutions. - Strong understanding of Azure services, Microsoft 365 integration, and data fabric patterns. - Experience with ALM, DevOps pipelines, releases, and PowerShell scripting. - Ability to design scalable, maintainable architectures and deliver clear documentation. - Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills for managing technical teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Certifications: PL‑400, PL‑600, MB‑210, MB‑220, MB‑230, MB‑240, AZ‑900 (mandatory). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
