Job title: ServiceNow SecOps VIR Role Summary: Remote full‑time professional responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing ServiceNow SecOps (Vulnerability Incident Response) modules to support organization‑wide vulnerability management and incident response workflows. Expactations: Deliver reliable SecOps functionality, automate integration with other security tools, and produce clear technical documentation. Work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional security and ITSM teams to design scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow SecOps modules for vulnerability management and incident response. • Integrate third‑party security tools and automate workflows using ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and integration frameworks. • Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, ensuring optimal uptime and data accuracy. • Identify security vulnerabilities, coordinate with remediation teams, and track closure. • Produce detailed technical documentation, configuration guides, and best‑practice playbooks. • Stay current on ServiceNow releases, security standards, and industry practices to recommend continuous improvement. Required Skills: • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response modules. • Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Flow Designer, REST/ SOAP APIs, and related scripting for custom integrations. • Experience with process automation, workflow optimization, and configuration of ServiceNow out‑of‑the‑box features. • Foundational security concepts: vulnerability lifecycles, mitigation strategies, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation capabilities. • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment and communicate effectively across teams.
