Job Description: **Job Title** Strategic Sourcing Manager, Senior **Role Summary** Lead the strategic sourcing and contract management function for complex, indirect spend categories, delivering cost savings, compliance, and supplier performance improvements in a regulated healthcare environment. **Expectations** - Achieve measurable cost savings and favorable commercial terms for assigned categories. - Ensure all sourcing and contracting activities comply with healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, NCQA, URAC). - Build and maintain robust relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Provide strategic insights and medium- to long‑term sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop category strategies incorporating spend analysis, market, and geographic factors. - Identify, qualify, and manage large‑scale suppliers, including creation of specifications, RFP/RFQ documents, and Statement of Work. - Conduct supplier sourcing events, onboarding and off‑boarding, and performance management. - Negotiate and manage complex contracts, focusing on total cost of ownership and risk mitigation. - Evaluate existing contracts for savings opportunities and recommend improvements. - Lead cross‑functional sourcing events and influence decision‑making across business units. - Maintain data integrity in contract management systems and produce executive summaries for approvals. - Partner with Supplier Relationship Managers and Operations Managers to resolve supplier issues and ensure service delivery. **Required Skills** - Advanced negotiation and contract management. - Strategic sourcing methodology (7‑step process). - Strong analytical and spend‑analysis capabilities. - Leadership and change‑management. - Stakeholder engagement and influence across multi‑functional teams. - Problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and decision‑making. - Project management. - Knowledge of indirect spend categories, including professional services and BPO. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (required). - Master’s degree or MBA preferred. - Successful completion of background check. - Healthcare regulatory knowledge (FDRs, CMS, NCQA, URAC) preferred. - Experience in CMS Medicare, Medicaid, or both preferred.
