Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Store Manager (f/m/d) Role Summary Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation in a retail environment focused on sustainability. Expectations - Proven retail selling and customer‑service experience. - Understanding of key performance indicators and data‑driven decision‑making. - Ability to inspire, coach, and develop a sales team. - Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive problem‑solving. - Flexibility to manage changing priorities and operational demands. - Competence in English for communication with international teams. Key Responsibilities - Support the Store Manager in meeting sales and budget objectives. - Monitor weekly performance metrics and recommend improvement actions. - Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and monitoring staff performance. - Provide daily coaching, motivation, and training to staff. - Ensure exceptional customer experience aligned with brand values. - Maintain store visual and merchandising standards, cleanliness, and safety. - Gather and relay customer and staff feedback to relevant departments. - Participate in internal communications, team cohesion initiatives, and local marketing events. - Enforce company policies, procedures, and hygiene/safety regulations. Required Skills - Retail sales and customer‑service expertise. - Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data. - Leadership and team‑development experience (training or supervising). - Excellent interpersonal and written communication. - Goal‑orientated, proactive, and accountable. - Adaptability, resilience, and effective conflict resolution. - Proficiency in English. Required Education & Certifications - High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in business or retail preferred). - Previous retail management or sales supervisor role. - Any relevant certifications in sales, customer‑service, or leadership are an advantage.
