**Job Title** Photovoltaic Project Developer – Independent Business Development Officer **Role Summary** Independent professional responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing land and rooftops for ground‑mounted, ridge‑mounted, and new‑roof solar projects across the country. Works directly with local authorities, industrial and tertiary owners, and landholders to develop large‑scale photovoltaic concepts, negotiate agreements, and recommend projects for acquisition. **Expectations** - Operate entirely independently with flexible scheduling. - No preset sales targets; performance measured by successful land acquisitions and deals. - Earn commission on projects secured or acquired. - Leverage local networks to advance projects that align with the company’s portfolio. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and source high‑potential parcels, parking lots, new roofs, and sites for redevelopment. - Qualify land opportunities, assess feasibility for photovoltaic installation. - Engage local stakeholders—public bodies, industrial owners, tertiary entities—to outline project benefits. - Lead land‑security processes: negotiate lease agreements, promissory notes, and final contracts. - Identify existing or emerging projects for potential purchase and evaluate their fit. - Serve as the primary liaison between external decision‑makers and internal development teams. - Maintain accurate records of outreach, feedback, and progress in a CRM system. **Required Skills** - Strong relational skills; proven ability to build trust with public and private owners. - Solid business sense and partnership orientation. - Self‑starter: initiative, autonomy, and proactive pursuit of new opportunities. - Knowledge of French land‑management, zoning, and renewable energy regulations. - Negotiation and contract‑management competency. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities in French (English proficiency a plus). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Real Estate, Energy, Business, or Public Administration. - Prior experience in land development, real estate, energy projects, or local government is required. - Certifications in renewable energy, project management, or land‑use planning are advantageous but not mandatory.
