Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Transform operational data for a logistics business, automating reports and building Power BI dashboards to enable data‑driven decision making and support the migration to a single data warehouse. **Expectations:** - Deliver automated Excel reports in the first 3 months. - Build impactful Power BI dashboards by month 6. - Enable live data access across warehouses by month 12. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with operations and IT to translate raw operational data into actionable insights. - Clean, interpret, and temporarily automate datasets in Excel. - Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards for warehouse, productivity, and financial metrics (SLAs, storage costs, stock movement, labor planning). - Support the transition to a new data warehouse, shaping data flows and usage. - Present visual reports and trend analyses to leadership for rapid, data‑led decisions. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, automation, visualization). - Strong Excel proficiency (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA optional). - Commercial understanding of retail, warehousing, stock, or logistics operations. - Analytical mindset: identify trends, generate insights, explain results clearly. - Ability to bridge IT and operations teams without deep coding expertise. - Bonus: experience with WMS, forecasting, modeling, or machine learning. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst or equivalent certification preferred.
