**Job Title**
Costing & Scheduling Analyst
**Role Summary**
Analyst who integrates financial planning, cost control, and project scheduling for high‑purity and semiconductor construction projects. Ensures project budgets, forecasts, earned‑value metrics, and schedules are accurate, aligned, and reported to leadership and clients.
**Expectations**
- Deliver precise cost and schedule reporting within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and site teams to capture accurate cost data and maintain schedule integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost and schedule performance through standardization and strategic reviews.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop, maintain, and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
2. Track labor, materials, subcontractor, and equipment costs against budgets and schedules.
3. Support job costing, variance analysis, and earned‑value tracking.
4. Create and update detailed project schedules in collaboration with operations and planning teams.
5. Evaluate schedule progress, identify risks, and propose recovery actions.
6. Prepare regular cost and schedule reports for leadership and client review.
7. Ensure consistency between financial systems and scheduling tools for accurate forecasting.
8. Partner with procurement and finance to align purchase orders, invoices, and commitments with budgets.
9. Assist month‑end close processes: journal entries, accruals, and project financial reconciliations.
10. Develop standardized costing models and templates to improve project efficiency.
11. Participate in strategic reviews to support continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- Strong financial analysis and project cost control expertise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Viewpoint, Paylocity), and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Deep understanding of construction job costing, earned‑value management, and lifecycle budgeting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and procurement teams.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or Engineering.
- Minimum 35+ years of experience in project finance, cost control, or scheduling within construction or manufacturing.
- Certifications in Primavera P6, MS Project, or ERP systems are a plus.
