Job Description

Job title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of an Embedded Linux platform for a next‑generation IoT device, driving architecture decisions and end‑to‑end product readiness. Expectations: • Own the full embedded stack, from board support packages and drivers to application software. • Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code that meets safety, performance, and reliability targets. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware teams, QA, and product management to bring complex systems to market. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop Embedded Linux BSPs, device drivers, and middleware for sensor‑rich IoT devices. • Architect software layers, select RTOS or bare‑metal solutions, and integrate with robotics and camera subsystems. • Lead prototype engineering through production launch, ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and performance profiling. Required Skills: • Proficient in Embedded Linux, C, and C++. • Experience with bare‑metal and real‑time operating systems (RTOS). • Strong knowledge of low‑level hardware interfacing, device drivers, and board support packages. • Familiarity with IoT protocols, sensor data processing, and camera/robotics integration. • Excellent debugging, unit testing, and documentation practices. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. (Certification not mandatory.)
