Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Intern Role Summary: Support regional sales operations, generate new leads, manage proposals, and maintain marketing materials to drive revenue growth and profitability in alignment with the company’s strategic plan. Expectations: Deliver consistent support to the sales team in meeting revenue targets, demonstrate proficiency in media utilization, client research, RFP processes, and CRM management; complete internship within the specified period while earning college credit. Key Responsibilities: - Assist sales team in achieving revenue growth and profitability for the company and school district partners. - Produce, purchase, and ship promotional materials for tradeshows and sales efforts; keep inventory levels adequate. - Collaborate across teams to meet proposal deadlines, schedule and organize presentations, pre‑bid conferences, and conference calls. - Manage and track sales activities through Salesforce: build reports, dashboards, create record pages/fields, and manage pipeline reports. - Support proposal production and management process; perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). - Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce; experience with InDesign and other marketing tools an advantage. - Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer‑service skills. - Self‑motivated, independent worker capable of multitasking and prioritizing projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field. - No specific certifications required; in‑house training provided.
