Job Title: Junior Research Analyst Role Summary: Support senior analysts in fundamental research on equities and credit within the capital structure. Prepare financial models, draft research reports, and monitor market trends. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality research outputs under guidance. - Grow analytical and modeling expertise autonomously over time. - Communicate findings clearly to clients, sales, and trading teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in sector and asset‑class research, gathering and processing financial data. - Build and maintain financial models and forecasts. - Contribute to research reports, presentations, and client materials. - Track market trends, company news, and macroeconomic developments. - Keep research databases and libraries accurate and accessible. - Provide research insights to sales and trading; respond to ad‑hoc requests. - Produce recurring research products (market/company monitors) on a fixed schedule. - Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organizational rigor. Required Skills: - Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up and independent work capacity. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex analyses. - Proficient in Excel, financial databases, and research platforms. - Strong organizational and time‑management skills. - Advanced critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities. - Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to work across asset classes/sectors. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. - Relevant work experience in financial services. - Active FINRA licenses: SIE, 7‑TO, 63, 86, 87 (or willingness to obtain).
