**Job Title** Spring 2026 QA Automation Intern **Role Summary** A graduating student entering Spring 2026 or later will join a QA Automation team to design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests. The intern will contribute to existing automation frameworks, participate in code reviews, and support continuous integration pipelines while gaining practical experience in software testing and development processes. **Expectations** - Enrolled for graduation Spring 2026 or later. - Participate in a 40‑hour work week (or fewer), with onsite presence at least three days per week. - Collaborate with team members, attend SCRUM meetings, and communicate test results clearly. - Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn application design, development methodologies, and QA best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement automated UI and API tests in Java. - Use IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ) to develop and debug test scripts. - Contribute to and enhance existing test automation frameworks. - Analyze test execution results and report findings to stakeholders. - Engage in code reviews, peer‑testing, and SCRUM processes. - Expand automated test coverage of new and legacy features across the codebase. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Java programming. - Familiarity with IDEs: Eclipse or IntelliJ. - Experience with build and release tools: CircleCI, Rundeck, Maven. - Knowledge of version control systems: Git and SVN. - Understanding of QA processes, test planning, and test design. - Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively. - Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a self‑motivated learning attitude. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current student status with expected graduation Spring 2026 or later. - No specific certifications required; knowledge of software testing principles is desired.
