Job Description

**Job Title**: Full Stack Developer – Contract **Role Summary** Independent contractor building and maintaining headless web solutions using Drupal on the backend and Next.js/React/TypeScript on the front end. Works with dev‑ops tasks, performance monitoring, and analytics implementation while ensuring brand consistency and code quality. **Expectations** - Deliver clean, scalable, and performant code for both front‑end and back‑end components. - Prioritize tasks via website roadmap and maintenance queue. - Collaborate across teams to transform business requirements into high‑quality digital experiences. - Participate in DevOps deployments, backups, and network‑related website tasks. - Produce regular technical performance reports and contribute to MarTech decisions. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and optimize headless Drupal and Next.js applications, applying mobile‑first and responsive design. - Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL/REST APIs, HTML, CSS (Tailwind, SCSS). - Automate CMS efficiency through scripts and dev‑ops processes. - Manage Git/GitHub workflows; maintain reusable component library. - Handle SSL certificates, DNS entries, and collaboration with IT on network tasks. - Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and other tracking mechanisms. - Generate monthly/quarterly performance metrics (speed, uptime, code quality). - Support senior full‑stack developer on DevOps, deployment, and process improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - 5+ years full‑stack development experience; 3+ years with React (Next.js) + Node.js + TypeScript. - Strong front‑end expertise: mobile‑first, responsive components, Tailwind CSS, SCSS. - Proficient backend: Node.js, GraphQL, REST, MongoDB, MySQL. - Headless Drupal CMS. - Analytics implementation: Google Tag Manager, GA4. - Git/GitHub workflow proficiency. - English communication (written & spoken). - Agile and DevOps familiarities. - Bonus: Python, SVG manipulation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required but DevOps, AWS, or relevant technical certifications preferred.
