The Service is led by a Chief Constable and comprises police officers, police staff and special constables who are working together to deliver the best possible policing service for the people of Scotland. The Chief Constable is supported by a command team of Deputy Chief Constables, Assistant Chief Constables, and Directors.

Job title: Business Lead – Common Data Platform for Scotland Role Summary: Lead the development of a comprehensive business case for the Common Data Platform (CDP) in Scotland, an integrated, multi‑agency data sharing environment that supports the Scottish Prevention Hub’s objectives in public health, safety, and social welfare. Responsible for stakeholder engagement, technical discussions, legislative and ethical compliance, and ensuring the platform meets cross‑sector analysis, predictive analytics, research, and operational needs. Expectations: - Build and present a business case that secures support from Scottish Government, Local Authority, Health, Social Work, Education, and Justice sectors. - Champion the CDP vision, align priorities, and capture stakeholder concerns, dependencies, and requirements. - Navigate complex legislative, technical, data, and ethical challenges to propose a viable platform option. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop the initial and full business case for the Common Data Platform, including cost–benefit analysis and implementation roadmap. 2.
