Job Description
**Job Title** Cyber Security Analyst **Role Summary** Leverage security operations expertise to protect IT and OT environments in manufacturing and corporate networks. Conduct real‑time monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance oversight to maintain audit readiness and strengthen overall security posture. **Expectations** - 5+ years in cybersecurity, preferably within manufacturing or critical infrastructure. - Strong analytical skills and clear communication to technical and business stakeholders. - Ability to maintain calm under pressure and respond effectively to security incidents. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor SIEM, EDR, and other security tools; analyze alerts across IT and OT domains. - Investigate and remediate incidents, coordinating with IT, plant operations, and engineering teams. - Support vulnerability management: patch verification, remediation tracking, risk‑based prioritization. - Participate in internal and external audits (SOX, ITGC, ISO, NIST), gather evidence, track remediation. - Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation (policies, playbooks, control matrices). - Assist third‑party risk assessments and vendor compliance. - Implement and enforce industrial cybersecurity controls (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800‑82) for DCS, PLC, SCADA, and IoT environments. - Conduct tabletop exercises, penetration testing, and red/blue team drills to validate controls. - Continuously identify gaps and drive cross‑functional improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Network security fundamentals: firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection. - Proficiency with SIEM (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) and EDR tools. - Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP) and OT security concepts. - Experience with threat mitigation tools (ThreatLocker, Proofpoint). - Documentation and audit‑ready evidence management. - Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISA, or GICSP are a plus but not mandatory.
