Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary
Design, automate, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices. Ensure performance, reliability, and security across all environments while collaborating with development and operations teams.
Expectations
* Lead infrastructure projects in a remote, full‑time capacity.
* Exhibit 10+ years of proven infrastructure/DevOps expertise.
* Deliver high‑quality, reusable infrastructure code and operational excellence.
* Communicate complex technical concepts to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and deploy Terraform modules for AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
* Engineer CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for infrastructure and application deployments.
* Manage IAM policies, security groups, VPCs, and network configurations.
* Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
* Perform release management, version control, and rollback strategies.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture.
* Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills
* 10+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
* Deep hands‑on experience with AWS services and Terraform IaC.
* Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
* Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
* Knowledge of networking, IAM, VPC, security groups.
* Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
* Version control expertise using Git.
* Problem‑solving and automation mindset.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
* AWS certification (Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional) preferred.
