Job Description

**Job Title**: AI Integration & Platform Engineer Intern **Role Summary** Intern actively develops and maintains an internal AI automation platform. Responsibilities include connecting Azure OpenAI agents to business tools, designing ETL pipelines in Azure Fabric, and migrating existing workflow logic to native Azure services. Focus is on building robust, scalable data flows and ensuring high reliability and maintainability. **Expectations** - Complete learning objectives for Azure Fabric and AI integration within the first 1–2 months. - Deliver functional AI workflows and data pipelines that meet quality and security standards. - Work autonomously, provide clear documentation, and iterate on solutions with minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **AI Agent Integration** – Connect Azure OpenAI agents to internal tools (HubSpot, SharePoint, APIs) and implement structured response handling. 2. **Workflow Development** – Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, validation, and automation workflows. 3. **Data Engineering** – Create pipelines in Azure Fabric/Data Factory, manage landing, raw, and curated stages, enforce data quality rules, and secure secrets via Key Vault. 4. **Workflow Migration** – Transfer legacy logic from Power Automate, Zapier, or Make to Azure, simplifying and hardening business processes. 5. **Monitoring & Reliability** – Set up logging, alerts, retry logic; analyze failures and improve pipeline performance; document every step for future maintainability. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Python (core language, libraries for JSON & HTTP). - Fundamental knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure; eagerness to learn quickly. - Understanding of APIs, JSON, and basic OAuth/Azure AD integration. - Experience or exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and data lake architecture. - Interest in LLMs, Azure OpenAI, and AI agents (RAG, Retrieval Augmented Generation). - Strong documentation, organizational, and analytical skills. - Self‑starter, able to troubleshoot and iterate on technical solutions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current student in an engineering or computer‑science program (Bac+4/5) specializing in information systems, data engineering, or related field; demonstration of coursework or projects in cloud and data pipelines preferred. - Optional: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or related cloud certification desirable but not mandatory.
