**Job title**
Intern – Automation Engineer / AI Integration
**Role Summary**
Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing automated workflows that incorporate generative AI for internal business processes (loan application handling, document analysis, client reminders). Work with low‑code platforms, APIs, and AI services to industrialise use‑cases defined by business teams, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
**Expectations**
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an engineering/IT program (Bac +4/5).
- Basic professional experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with financing products is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, GPT) and automation tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Workflow Design & Development** – Build and maintain automated processes using Power Automate, HubSpot, and other low‑code/no‑code tools.
2. **AI Integration** – Embed generative‑AI models to generate, re‑format, or analyse business content.
3. **API & Data Handling** – Process JSON payloads from REST APIs, implement parsing logic, and manage data flows.
4. **Testing & Validation** – Create unit and functional test scenarios, troubleshoot execution issues, and document outcomes.
5. **Security & Compliance** – Apply GDPR best practices, secure API keys, and anonymise data where required.
6. **Performance Monitoring** – Track latency, success rates, and API consumption; propose optimisations.
7. **Documentation & Knowledge Transfer** – Document workflows, control points, and lessons learned for team use.
**Required Skills**
- **Programming**: Python, JavaScript (or equivalent).
- **Data Formats**: JSON mastery; REST API integration.
- **Automation**: Experience with Power Automate, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar.
- **AI**: Curiosity about generative models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
- **Security**: Basic understanding of data protection (GDPR) and secure coding.
- **Soft Skills**: Analytical thinking, experimentation mindset, clear documentation, autonomy, and sense of responsibility.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (Bac +4/5).
- No mandatory certifications; knowledge of Power Automate, Azure AI, or related platforms is advantageous.
