Job Description

Job Title: Generative AI Software Development Internship Role Summary: Intern will apply generative AI techniques to automate code generation, detect and correct anomalies, enhance performance, manage software obsolescence, simplify existing code, and produce technical documentation within a defense systems environment. Expectations: Gain hands‑on experience with AI tools for code analysis and generation, contribute to improving software quality and maintainability, ensure adherence to coding standards, and support documentation and lifecycle management of software assets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and integrate AI models for automatic code generation and refactoring. - Use AI‑powered static and dynamic analysis to detect anomalies and propose corrections. - Optimize code for performance and robustness, considering safety and reliability requirements. - Manage software obsolescence by identifying legacy components and suggesting modernization strategies. - Simplify and improve existing codebases, producing clear documentation and usage guides. - Collaborate with software engineering teams on tool integration and process improvement. Required Skills: - Proven experience in software development (C/C++, Python, or related languages). - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI tools) and their application to code generation or analysis. - Competence in version control (Git), build systems, and continuous integration. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Good written and verbal communication for documentation and collaboration. Required Education & Certifications: - Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge of machine learning principles and software engineering best practices.
