Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable code. Expectations: Deliver functional features on schedule, adhere to coding standards and best practices, maintain clear documentation, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code in languages such as Java, C#, or Python. • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and development issues. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services. • Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to define requirements and user stories. • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites. • Contribute to architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions. Required Skills: • Proficient in at least one modern programming language (Java, C#, Python). • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. • Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles. • Knowledge of relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies. • Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Developer are a plus.
