Job Description: Job title Back‑End Developer (F/M) Role Summary Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance RESTful APIs and backend services in a modern tech stack, collaborating closely with front‑end and cross‑functional teams, while ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to agile practices. Expectations - Deliver robust, scalable backend solutions aligned with product requirements. - Drive continuous improvement of code quality (SonarQube), performance, and maintainability. - Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap. Key Responsibilities - Build and expose REST APIs using Java J2EE and Spring Boot. - Implement data persistence with Hibernate/JPA and SQL Server. - Design and integrate messaging or queuing systems (RabbitMQ or equivalent). - Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum), sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Write and update technical and functional documentation. - Optimize application performance and implement best coding practices. - Support application refactoring and visual redesign initiatives. - Mentor junior developers and collaborate with front‑end teams. Required Skills - Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE) and Spring Boot (mandatory). - Expertise in Hibernate/JPA. - Experience with messaging/queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ). - RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - SQL Server database development and tuning. - Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge. Preferred/Additional Skills - Familiarity with Flowable workflow engine. - Experience with MinIO object storage. - Exposure to Nextcloud. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum 5 years of university education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Bac+5). - 3 + years of professional backend development experience. - Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Framework, or Agile practices are a plus.
