**Job Title** Intern – Management Control (Financial Control Intern) **Role Summary** Assist the Finance Department in monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and cost‑optimization activities within a renewable energy organization. **Expectations** - Complete assigned tasks within deadlines. - Communicate findings clearly to finance and cross‑functional stakeholders. - Proactively identify and suggest actionable insights to improve financial outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Financial Analysis** – Track financial results versus forecasts, analyze variances, and produce concise commentary. 2. **Reporting** – Compile regular management reports on financial health, trends, and key metrics. 3. **Budgeting** – Contribute to budget formulation, negotiation, and ongoing monitoring across departments; consolidate input data. 4. **Cost Optimization** – Evaluate cost structures, spot improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions to enhance profitability. 5. **Additional Tasks** – Execute ad‑hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical ability with proficiency in interpreting complex financial data. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; Chinese language skills preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with PowerBI is advantageous. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. - Effective collaboration across functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a master’s program in business school, university, or engineering school, specializing in finance, accounting, or management control. - No specific certifications required.
