**Job Title:** Java Technical Lead **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and delivery of Java-based solutions across backend and frontend domains. Oversee code quality, architecture decisions, and project execution while mentoring a cross-functional engineering team. Must possess 12+ years of experience in Java development, with deep expertise in modern frameworks and best practices. **Expectations:** - Minimum 12 years of Java development experience. - Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications. - Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and performance tuning. - Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive technical strategy and architecture for Java-based products. - Mentor and coach developers, enforce coding standards, and conduct code reviews. - Collaborate with product, business, and QA teams to define scope and deliverables. - Manage project timelines, risks, and resource allocation. - Ensure high quality, testability, and maintainability of codebases. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Stay current with emerging Java technologies and evaluate their impact. - Participate in hiring and capacity planning. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Java SE and Java EE. - Deep experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data/Hibernate. - Backend API design (RESTful/WebSocket), frontend integration (React/AngularJS optional). - Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Relational database design (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL mastery. - Version control (Git) and Agile/DevOps workflows. - Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and performance profiling skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication in English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Java SE Certified Programmer (OCP) or equivalent. - Spring Professional Certification or equivalent. - Scrum Master or similar Agile certification (optional but desirable).
