Job Description
**Job Title** Quality Control Inspector **Role Summary** Execute inspections throughout product development and manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements, and ISO 9001:2015. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, maintain verification records, and support continuous improvement and audit activities. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely inspections and documentation. - Communicate findings to production, shipping, and suppliers to meet quality and schedule targets. - Follow detailed procedures, maintain safety, and comply with regulatory and statutory standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct incoming inspections of vendor materials for quality and contractual compliance. - Perform first‑article inspections for new outsourced products and materials. - Carry out in‑process inspections (visual, electrical, mechanical) of sub‑assemblies and processes. - Participate in final product verification, product simulations, and returned product handling. - Monitor suppliers, perform calibrations, quarantine non‑conforming material, and support product development. - Prepare reports, maintain verification records, and contribute to procedure development and improvement. - Support ISO 9001:2015 audits and cooperate with governmental inspections. - Ensure no expired raw material is used; uphold safety, regulatory, and statutory standards. **Required Skills** - Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive tasks. - Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, multimeters, etc.). - Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and related standards (IPC, UL, CSA, AWS, EN, etc.). - Basic mechanical/electronic understanding; ability to lift up to 20 kg. - Excellent written and verbal communication; effective interpersonal skills. - Time management and multi‑tasking in a dynamic environment. - Proficient data entry and computer use. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Required Education & Certifications** - Secondary (high‑school) diploma with basic understanding in manufacturing, mechanical, or electronic disciplines. - 2–3 years of quality control experience focusing on machined parts, printed circuit boards, or printed circuit assemblies. - ASQ designations such as CQIA, CSSYB, CQPA, CQI, or CSQP preferred but not mandatory.
