**Job Title:** Salesforce Marketing Cloud Functional Lead
**Role Summary:**
Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions that enable personalized, cross‑channel digital engagement. Acts as the primary functional liaison between marketing, product, and engineering teams, translating business objectives into scalable SFMC configurations and integrations.
**Expectations:**
- Drive end‑to‑end solution architecture for email, SMS, mobile push, and journey automation.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality configurations, testing, and go‑live support.
- Champion continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and new feature adoption.
- Maintain compliance with privacy, security, and audit standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct discovery workshops to capture requirements, pain points, and campaign goals.
- Design comprehensive engagement solutions using Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, Personalization Builder, Automation Studio, etc.
- Create functional and technical specifications, user stories, and integration contracts.
- Guide developers on SFMC configuration, scripting, and system integrations (e.g., Service Cloud, CDP/Data Cloud, MuleSoft).
- Lead testing (UAT, QA) of journeys, automations, and channel setups; coordinate deployment and post‑launch monitoring.
- Prototype and pilot new channels/features (SMS, push notifications, Mobile SDK, dashboards).
- Produce performance dashboards, analytics reports, and governance documentation.
- Define and enforce privacy, opt‑in/opt‑out, and security processes.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years in CRM/marketing technology; ≥5 years focused on SFMC.
- Deep expertise in SFMC modules: Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Personalization Builder.
- Proven ability to design cross‑channel campaigns (email, SMS, mobile push) with dynamic content and behavioral triggers.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem integrations (Service Cloud, CDP/Data Cloud, MuleSoft).
- Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, wireframing, and stakeholder communication.
- Hands‑on experience with campaign testing, QA, and production deployment in SFMC.
- Analytical mindset to interpret metrics and optimize journey performance.
- Leadership and collaborative skills to drive cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and/or Administrator certification preferred.
