**Job Title:** Vice President of Retail
**Role Summary:**
Lead the end‑to‑end retail strategy and operations for a global luxury eyewear brand. Own scalability, profitability, and brand integrity across 20+ physical stores. Develop long‑term expansion roadmap, manage P&L, and cultivate a world‑class guest experience.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver consistent revenue growth, margin improvement, and KPI achievement across all retail units.
- Translate market insights into strategic site selection, lease negotiations, and new‑store execution.
- Build a high‑performing retail organization that embodies brand values and drives customer loyalty.
- Foster cross‑functional alignment with marketing, operations, finance, and HR to create a seamless omnichannel experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Leadership:** Define and execute a multi‑market retail roadmap, prioritizing markets and locations.
- **P&L Management:** Set financial targets, monitor performance dashboards, and ensure stores meet revenue, profit, and operational excellence goals.
- **Store Expansion:** Lead site selection, lease negotiations, architecture, and opening projects; manage budgets, timelines, and quality control.
- **Operational Excellence:** Standardize policies, compliance, and guest service protocols across all stores.
- **Team Development:** Recruit, train, and mentor store leaders and staff; cultivate a culture of learning, accountability, and exceptional service.
- **Guest Experience:** Elevate brand, visual, and experiential standards; drive initiatives that increase foot traffic, conversion, average transaction value, and repeat purchase.
- **Cross‑Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Marketing for brand execution, Finance for forecasting, Digital for omnichannel integration, and HR for talent management.
**Required Skills:**
- Strategic planning & execution in luxury or specialty retail.
- Proven multi‑unit, multi‑market scaling experience with full P&L ownership.
- Deep knowledge of retail site selection, lease negotiation, and new‑store development.
- Strong analytical mindset; proficiency in performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team‑building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to maintain brand consistency while driving operational efficiency.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Retail or operations certifications (e.g., Certified Retail Executive, Retail Management Professional) considered a plus.
