Job Description
**Job Title** Business Technology Consultant / B2B Outside Sales **Role Summary** Drive revenue by consulting B2B clients on content management, document automation, scanning & printing solutions, and information security. Build and nurture client relationships, present tailored technology solutions, and achieve sales targets while maintaining up‑to‑date product expertise. **Expectations** - Consistently reach or surpass quarterly & annual sales quotas. - Maintain accurate, real‑time pipeline and performance data in the company’s CRM/ERP system. - Demonstrate self‑direction, independence, and strong time‑management. - Engage in continuous learning to stay current with product updates and industry trends. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Consultative Selling** – Use a question‑based approach to understand client business needs and recommend relevant solutions. 2. **Business Development** – Prospect new accounts, cultivate relationships, and expand the existing customer base. 3. **Sales Analysis** – Review customer data, generate lead opportunities, and analyze market trends to inform strategy. 4. **Presentation & Demo** – Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospects and current clients. 5. **CRM Management** – Input activities, track opportunity progression, and generate regular performance reports. 6. **Training & Knowledge** – Attend company sales meetings, complete product and sales training modules, and maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge. **Required Skills** - Proven B2B outside‑sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding quotas. - Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. - Technical aptitude for quickly learning new technology products and services. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems. - Self‑starter capable of independent work and managing a personal workload. - Ability to network professionally and build long‑term client relationships. - Valid driver’s license and capability to travel for client visits; ability to lift light equipment (printers, scanners, toner, etc.). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications; company‑provided training will cover product and sales skills.
