Job Description
**Job Title:** Chief Cyber Engineer **Role Summary** Senior technical consultant, manager, and subject matter expert in cybersecurity engineering for high-priority national security missions. **Expectations** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred). 8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research. Active TS/SCI clearance required. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead development and deployment of advanced R&D capabilities bridging hardware/software interfaces. - Design and maintain embedded/cross-domain cybersecurity solutions to address mission-critical vulnerabilities. - Conduct firmware reverse engineering using Ghidra, IDA Pro, and analyze PCB-level communications (SPI, UART, I2C). - Architect technical solutions for embedded system vulnerabilities and RF communication protocols derived from captured signals. - Lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and manage complex development programs. - Provide strategic technical guidance to senior customer leaders and deliver actionable solutions to complex challenges. - Execute open-source research and OSINT analysis to support mission objectives. **Required Skills** - Advanced proficiency in firmware reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro). - Deep technical expertise in PCB-level communications (SPI, UART, I2C) and RF protocols. - Experience in embedded system vulnerability identification and remediation. - Strong leadership and program management capabilities. - Excellent written/verbal communication for senior stakeholder engagement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Master’s/PhD preferred). - Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain additional clearances as required.
