Job Description
**Job Title** Developer (COTS) III **Role Summary** Design, develop, customize, and support core applications in Oracle e‑Business Suite (R12/Fusion) and Salesforce. Translate business requirements into configurable components, integration solutions, and code enhancements while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with development standards. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality software that meets functional and performance SLAs. - Resolve production support issues within agreed timelines. - Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with application analysts to capture requirements and create technical design documents. - Build, test, and deploy code across development, test, and production environments using version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and change management tools. - Develop PL/SQL scripts, Oracle Forms/Reports, XML Publisher packages, and Oracle Application modules (including R12/Fusion). - Create and customize Salesforce Lightning components, Apex triggers, classes, Visualforce pages, and SOQL/SOSL queries. - Design and implement REST/ SOAP web services, webhooks, and integration flows to connect Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and third‑party systems. - Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and health‑check activities for both Oracle and Salesforce applications. - Coordinate data migration and conversion projects between Oracle ERP modules, Salesforce, and cloud platforms. - Maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and deployment. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, deliver backlog items, and support iterative development cycles. - Provide on‑call support and troubleshoot issues in a high‑pressure environment. **Required Skills** - 5+ years designing and building enterprise applications for Oracle e‑Business Suite (R12/Fusion) and Salesforce. - Advanced PL/SQL and SQL (query tuning, complex joins). - Oracle Application Development (Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, PL/SQL tools). - Salesforce platform expertise: Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, REST/ SOAP services, ANT, Force.com data loader. - Relational database design (ERDs, tables, views, indexes). - Integration concepts: Web Services, ETL, APIs, middleware. - Unix/Linux shell scripting. - Source control (Git), branching strategies, defect tracking, release management. - CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and mentoring abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Oracle Application Developer certification (or equivalent). - Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications preferred (not mandatory).
