**Job Title:** Mid-Level Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Development of a document‑centric workflow automation platform using Ruby on Rails. Design, code, test, and deploy features that integrate document management, data consolidation, and business‑process automation for government agency operations. **Expactations:** * 3+ years in production Rails development. * Proficiency in PostgreSQL and database optimization. * Experience with Hotwire, CKEditor, AWS, and containerization. * Familiarity with security standards, preferably FedRAMP/IL5 compliance. * Strong testing, code‑review, and documentation habits. * Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable Rails features. 2. Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code following best practices. 3. Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions. 5.
