Job Description
Job title: Senior DevOps Developer (2) Role Summary: Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure for a rapidly growing SaaS platform. Leads DevOps processes, improves developer productivity, and ensures high performance and compliance across Kubernetes-based environments. Expactations: - Own end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure strategy and execution - Mentor team members and collaborate with product & customer success to prioritize initiatives - Champion best practices for reliability, stability, and scalability - Harness AI tools to accelerate delivery of operational solutions Key Responsibilities: - Design and deploy cloud services on Azure or equivalent providers, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency - Build, maintain, and evolve Terraform and other IaC pipelines for infrastructure provisioning - Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Helm, and related tooling to automate continuous delivery of application and infrastructure changes - Manage Kubernetes clusters, container registries, networking, monitoring, and security controls - Drive SOC2 & security compliance initiatives, perform risk assessments, and enforce observability standards - Optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate testing, and reduce lead time for change - Participate in incident response, post‑mortem analysis, and root‑cause investigations - Proactively identify and experiment with emerging DevOps technologies to push platform boundaries Required Skills: - Deep experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Helm - Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) and GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux) - Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable) - Expertise in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI) - Scripting and automation in Bash, Python, or Go; solid command of version control (Git) - Solid understanding of observability, logging, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) - Familiarity with security best practices, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure hardening - Ability to apply AI/ML tools for operational efficiency Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Professional certifications preferred: - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) - Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent cloud certification - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer - Demonstrated experience with AI/ML operational tools is a plus.
