**Job title:** System Architect – Portals
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design and evolution of the software and technical architecture for the Sacem’s portal products (B2B and B2C). Ensure architecture aligns with business strategy, modernizes legacy systems, and supports self‑care experiences across all devices. Act as the technical business owner, bridging functional requirements and engineering implementation.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver a future‑state architecture that supports scalable, secure, and high‑availability portal solutions.
- Drive continuous modernization, preventing obsolescence of the IT estate.
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads, and stakeholders to set and prioritize technical initiatives.
- Influence and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance across the portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Translate business needs into a coherent system‑architecture vision for products and applications.
- Define and maintain the roadmap for architecture and technology, integrating security, observability, and interoperability.
- Serve as the technology owner for the platform, representing the platform’s needs in enterprise portfolio committees.
- Partner with tech leads and development leads to ensure proper execution of the roadmap.
- Identify and recommend required skill sets for architecture evolution.
- Contribute to architecture studies, briefs, and governance documents in line with internal standards.
- Champion architecture across agile ceremonies, ensuring technical alignment.
- Support project teams from scoping to delivery, reviewing technical deliverables such as architecture documents and operation plans.
- Monitor emerging technologies (virtualization, containers, cloud), propose improvements for availability, cost, and performance.
- Drive participation in communities of practice, recruiting, and knowledge sharing.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong background in software development and system architecture.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non‑technical language.
- Rigorous decision‑making, synthesis, pragmatism, and strong leadership.
- Experience with cloud (public, private, hybrid), on‑prem, and infrastructure modernization.
- Proficiency in governance, security, observability, and automated delivery practices.
- Excellent collaboration and influence skills across business and technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity and proactive learning of emerging technology trends and standards.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect, DevOps/CI‑CD, Security Architecture) strongly preferred.
